Day 1: My weight is 163.4 lbs. I have decided to set a goal of losing 15 lbs. in the next 90 days.
My plan is to make lifestyle changes one step at a time. My goal for the next week is to replace 2 meals, eat a meal and two snacks. I usually skip lunch so that will be a challenge for me.
Pain levels are very high. Insomnia has been relentless the last few nights, I have not slept more than 7 hours all three nights combined. I’m doing as little as possible, making it a point to rest–trying not to beat myself up too much. I attended a networking lunch meeting, but I did not do much else. I took on a lot earlier this week and now my body is demanding I rest. Today I comply. I don’t have much energy so the protein shakes are perfect for me–I am not well enough to cook dinner.
I’ve never shared my struggle to live a healthy lifestyle before this. I have always struggled and been ashamed. I hope that by sharing my story, others are able to take on the challenge of addressing the imbalances in their lives and taking control.
