The Hot Bath – The Roman’s Health Invention

Do you enjoy hot baths for aching muscles?

Do you enjoy hot baths for aching muscles?

Has your doctor ever prescribed a hot bath for pain and aches? The hot bath was one of the greatest Roman natural health inventions.

I know what you’re thinking, “Who has time for a bath? We just don’t get enough time to just stop, relax, and recover.” I get it, but when you’re in pain, this stop, this pause, is just that much more important. Invest in your happiness with some “Me Time,” Your muscles will thank you for it.

What’s all the fuss about?

Hot baths relax your muscles and make it easier to reach those deep trigger points. Soaking in hot water or taking a sauna can also get your heart rate up, which promotes natural rest and sleep. Studies have shown that saunas help ease the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Consider scheduling some me time for a half hour bath. You’ll be able to treat those deep trigger points and your muscles will thank you for it.

Do you enjoy hot baths for relief of pain?

Because I got by with a little help from my girlfriends, I want to help you get help from your girlfriends. As always, please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences.

  1. I find that I get a bath when I travel and I take the time. Plus, it is right there. Baths are healthy, as is the relaxation for the body. Good article!
