Girlfriends: Improve Your Health

When is it too much?

When is it too much?

Are you yearning for “me time”?

Are you feeling your glass is half empty these days?

Are you spending much of your extra time in bed or staring into space?

Well, it’s no wonder.  You do over half the household work, kick butt in the office, and run all over town taking care of everyone’s needs.

When do you take care of you needs or reward yourself for being the perfect woman?

Considering 90% of women feel tired and stressed and 82% of women say they feel guilty, not enough.  Being perfect, putting others first, always saying “yes,” over analyzing, and taking control takes its toll, and if we fail in any way we feel guilty.

What do you do?

Make time to care for your physical and emotional well-being.  Start by planning a daily half hour session for something you enjoy.   However, if you are crying when you’re alone, or taking every opportunity you get to pick, argue, and nag, I recommend jump starting your recovery with a girls’ getaway. By taking one 4 day girls’ trip a year you will reduce your stress, improve your performance and quality of rest, and save time and money on insurance and medical bills.

What’s your favorite way to reduce stress?

Because I got by with a little help from my girlfriends, I want to help you get help from your girlfriends. As always, please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences.

  1. Wow, nice to know that I am part of that 90%! A girls’ getaway sounds like the perfect solution.

  2. I completely agree about getting away with your girlfriends. Three of my dearest friends and I went away last year for my 40th birthday and we had a fantastic time. We bought matching rings and made photo books to remind us of the great time we had and that we need to keep this tradition going.

  3. Yes sometimes it is great to go on a weekend getaway with Any friends as far as I am concerned… Laughter, Relaxation, fun banters etc… Yippy
